New Zealand’s four-time ABL championship professional basketball team had new ownership and were bringing the ‘next-level’ of NBA-style atmosphere to their loyal fan base including the hope of adding their next championship banner to the ceiling.
We were tasked with creating a campaign that would deliver on the excitement of the game, expectancy of their legacy and the entertainment qualities of being so close to the action.
The audience was a wide demographic which needed to appeal to their die-hard fans of males 16-31 and families who enjoyed getting out for a night of action-packed entertainment.
The result was the #GotNext campaign, which brought both basketball’s grassroots/street diversity and athleticism of professional basketball together into a visual representation of the concrete playground mixed with the indoor court.
